"she is so bright that you cannot look at her face or her garments for the splendor for which she shines. for she is terrible with the terror of the avenging lightning, and gentle with the goodness of the bright sun; and both her terror and her gentleness are incomprehensible to humans. But she is with everyone and in everyone, and so beautiful is her secret that no person can know the sweetness with which she sustains people and spares them in inscrutable mercy."
St. foxie embodies that unyielding strength and richness of the mystic feminine, corona made of solid gold. Honey sweet and thick, it is that malleable way in which we give and receive love. See us dancing by fire, singing in harmony with the wild one that lives within, La que sabe, or “she who knows.”
I honor my sisters, the ones through blood and those by cosmic circumstance, all saints in their own rite. They have enriched every facet of my life and have saved me many times over. It represents the sacred thread that connects us in sisterhood. I cannot look at another woman without seeing her as friend or ally, for I am humbly reminded that we are all daughters, possessing a fierce capacity to nurture with such selfless abandon. It is our birth rite to be cared for with steadfast love and mutual respect.
From a young age, my connection with Earth and Spirit was evident. I would explore the creek to collect acorns and rocks, hike through overgrown fields and climb giant oak trees. I was drawn to fire, finding comfort in the aroma of burning wood, magnetized by the glow of dying embers. I grew up surrounded by magic and folklore. In the old stories, the fox symbolizes quick wit and adaptability. When she appears, we are asked to shed the youthful cloak of naiveté. As a night creature, the fox is imbued with supernatural powers with an affinity for nocturnal activities and dreamwork. She can be seen as a teacher, offering guidance to help one find their way through obstacles and resistance.
By healing through different energy modalities, including touch, sound vibration, and breathwork, I offer guidance and insight that empowers profound change. Drawing from a blend of the Eastern principles of spirituality and traditions found in the Shamanism of the Americas, I have great reverence for this work and believe that everyone has the ability to heal themselves, others, and ultimately the world at large. We are all intuitive beings possessed with the necessary tools we need to clear blockage, release trauma, balance energy, and restore harmony to help fulfill our highest potential. We are all shaman, healer, medicine woman, saint.
