NEXT COHORT BEGINS FALL 2024 •

Breathwork Training and Mentorship Program for Black, Indigenous and People of Color.

Breathwork is one of the most ancient forms of healing, used in many cultural traditions as a natural way to achieve altered states and ease pain and ailments of the body-mind and spirit. Studies have shown that regular practice of conscious breathing can relieve anxiety and stress, help alleviate PTSD, elevate mood, enhance creative flow states, and achieve overall body aliveness. The benefits of breathwork are abundant, backed by scientific evidence in recent years and now considered to be one the most effective body-based therapies out today.

The foundational coursework and subject material focuses on emotional clarity and spiritual well-being for complete integration. Utilizing a learner-centered blended curriculum approach, with an emphasis on cultural competency that is trauma-informed, future practitioners and healers will gain the confidence and advanced skill set to guide their community and other seekers into wholeness. This is a profoundly enriching and transformational journey for dedicated BIPOC to cultivate their skills in the expanding field of therapeutic and conscious breathwork.

here’s what the program includes:

This is a comprehensive, experiential 100 hour virtual training that spans the course of 12 weeks. It consists of weekly 3hr immersive workshops via Zoom that include lecture, group discussion, breathwork exercises and practice.

At the close of each workshop, students will receive assignments pertaining to that week’s subject material. Assignments will be comprised of reading excerpts and articles, latest research and development in the field, and short essay prompts for critical and creative thinking. This will also include exploration focused on understanding personal biography, developing intuition, and application of learned techniques.

In the final modules nearing the end of the program, learners will be asked to facilitate and complete a total of three one-on-one breathwork client sessions with friends, family, and peers, where feedback will be submitted to Siedeh for review. This is to assess embodiment of material and become familiar with the work in real time, with the aim to empower learners to shape their practice.

Additionally, students of the program will also receive support and guidance through:

  • Three monthly one-on-one mentorship sessions with either Siedeh or the assistant facilitator to provide feedback, discuss progress and answer questions.

  • Weekly Open Circles where students can gather and connect over culturally relevant topics and other things that may come up over the course of the program.

  • Guest Speaker and Peer-led Workshops that are scheduled to coincide with the modules and offer pathways for integration and inspiration outside of Saturday’s mandatory meetings.

meet your guides:

Siedeh Foxie

Siedeh Foxie is an intuitive guide, teacher and student of the healing arts through ancient cultural traditions. Her practice encompasses breath, movement, and energy healing through hands on active touch. Embedded in spiritual studies and cultivating right relationship with the earth, Siedeh’s work is trauma informed, with a focus on somatic skills, safe integration, and embodiment. As a self-taught and certified therapeutic breathwork facilitator through Transformations, she focuses upon utilizing inherent universal life force energy and the spirit of breath as a catalyst for transpersonal shifts and self-actualization.

In 2020, after near many years facilitating both group and private breathwork experiences, Siedeh recognized the need for more cultural competence in the field which led her to develop the Breathwork Training and Mentorship Program for Black Healers, the first and only program of it’s kind. Now in it’s 4th cohort, the program is currently offered in two iterations: one as a space exclusively for Black healers and those from the African diaspora, and another for Black, Indigenous and People of Color.

His experience includes years of intensive structured trainings from a variety of teachers with focuses including healing, therapeutic, and clairvoyant work. He became a director and teacher for a psychic development school for 11 years before he launched his own practice. He is now the founder of Myphoria, where he is in practice as a clairvoyant reader and breathwork facilitator.
